Announcement

Dear participants,

1. The GlobELT and GLOBETS 2020 Conferences will not be cancelled.
2. Both conferences will be held together on the scheduled date; 28-31 October 2020.
3. Both conferences will be organized virtually.
4. Those who have already paid for the onsite registration fee will be reimbursed the remaining sum (virtual presentation is 250 euros).
5. The papers will be published in ERIC or ULAKBIM + ERIC indexed journals or in the Proceedings with an ISBN number free of charge depending on the preference of the presenters. In addition, the SCOPUS indexed journal, JLLS, publishes papers with a special discount if demanded.
6. All participants will be provided with the conference participation certificate.
7. The GlobELT and GLOBETS 2020 participants will be given a special 10% discount in the 2021 Conferences.
8. The participants may present two papers for only one registration fee and both papers will be published (one in the journal, other in the Proceedings).
9. For further enquiries or requests BILKON team and the conference organizing committee members will be accessible. 
10. The virtual conference period will definitely be fruitful, joyful, memorable as all the previous onsite GlobELT & GLOBETS Conferences.

GlobELT & GLOBETS 2020

Aims and Scope

The GlobELT conferences aim to bring together researchers, practitioners, and educators with interests in English Language Teaching, English Language and Literature, American Culture and Literature and Linguistics at all levels from all around the world.

The GlobELT 2020 conference is organised to provide a high quality academic platform for the communities of EFL/ESL/ELT and the allied sciences to promote connections between theory and practice, and explore different perspectives on the application of research findings into different practices.

Researchers, experts, scholars and teachers are invited to submit their papers to the GlobELT 2020:
6th International Conference on Teaching and Learning English as an Additional Language.

Speakers can choose to do an oral presentation, a poster presentation, or an online presentation. For all types of proposals, speakers are expected to submit a structured abstract through our abstract submission system. All proposals will be blind-reviewed by at least two members of the editorial and advisory board for scope and quality.

We hope that this conference will create a friendly occasion for all to share perspectives and research findings from a wide variety of educational contexts. We also dearly value possible friendships and partnerships made and insights gained at the conference and hope they will go beyond your participation in the conference, leading to better understanding and appreciation of our profession from an international stance.
